Viewlands House

On Friday, 16th May, residents, family members, helped by some staff and Friends of Viewlands embarked on a minibus trip to Caulders Garden Centre in Kinross. The sun was shining brightly as everyone boarded the bus.

In our last magazine, we asked if anyone would like to share some wartime memories for this special edition. Here, some of our remarkable residents of Viewlands House share some of their stories and memories from one of the most challenging times in history.

Huge congratulations to Kat, our Manager, who has been awarded an MBE in the King's New Year's Honours List. This is in recognition of her service to the Army Cadet Force. Her proper Army title is now Lieutenant Colonel Kat Douglas MBE. What a fantastic achievement.

Our residents had a great time competing in the Golf, Football, Netball and Beer Pong events.

Just in time for coinciding with the golf Open at Royal Troon, some of our residents were practicing their golf skills.
